The partners of GRP made their first investment in Starbucks in 1991 when it had approximately 25 stores.
Starbucks Corporation purchases and roasts whole bean coffees and sells them, along with fresh, rich-brewed coffees, Italian-style espresso beverages, cold-blended beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, coffee-related accessories and equipment, a selection of premium teas and a line of compact discs, primarily through Company-operated retail stores in countries around the world. Starbucks sells coffee and tea products through other channels of distribution, and, through certain of its equity investors, the Company also produces and sells bottled Frappuccino and Starbucks DoubleShot coffee drinks and a line of ice creams.
