Bulletpoints !!!!! easy as pie.

  • MetaNotes is GREAT for bulleted lists!
  • You use ASTERISKS to create bulleted lists.
  • Begin a new line with an asterisk and then a space to make a bullet – MetaNotes translates that into a bullet.
    • Begin a new line with TWO bullets to create a sub-bullet list, like this.
    • Just double-click this note to see what I’m talking about.

This is your Inbox.

This is sort of like a “wall” – everyone can read this stuff.

To send a PRIVATE message to another user right now, use the TIME LOG – we’re working on this.

When you explore other users’ spaces, you can leave messages in THEIR Inboxes.

Hello!!

I’m Emery, one of the people behind MetaNotes. If you have any questions at all, click my name on the bottom of this note and click on my inbox to leave me a note, or just drop me a line at emery@metanotes.com! Thanks for signing up, and have fun with MetaNotes! We’re still in development and will be continually adding features, so check back often to see what’s new!

Click the ‘question mark’ icon in the top right corner for a brief summary of features!

hello world !

drop me a line!

  • click the alarm clock icon on the top right
  • enter a message to me to say hi
  • enter @sonicsrini anywhere in the message to route it to me

the time log is how you can privately keep track of your ideas.

We are working on “private metanotes pages” but for right now everything is still public – message @beppu if you have any suggestions about that !

Explore other users & leave them messages.

Just go to the MetaNotes menu and select “users”.

Then drill down into their inbox and leave them a note.

Or click their “attribution” if you see that they created a note (their name in the lower left corner of the note).

Bookmark your friends' inboxes

That way you can quickly write a note for them to see when they get a chance, and see over and over again until they delete it.

It’s a lot better than email – it’s more persistent.
