A natural is one of those websites that just plain works and is just plain useful.

A cultural is something that is attached upon by the trendsetters and influencers.

METANOTES is initially a display of TALENT.

CREATIVITY only comes with tons of users.

the greatest spur to creativity may come from outside the individual.

is our domain well suited for the proliferation and recognition of new and interesting and breakthrough ideas?

we become truly creative when the community is moved by our work and discovers new possibilities in it.

creativity must be recognized.

creativity transforms an existing domain into a new one.

to have any effect, an idea must be couched in terms that are understandable to others, it must pass muster with the experts in the field, and it must be included in the cultural domain to which it belongs.

social confirmation is necessary for something to be called creative.

creativity brings into existence something genuinely new that is valued enough to be added to the culture.

creativity does not happen inside people’s heads, but in the interaction beyween a person’s thoughts and a sociocultural context. it is a systemic rather than an individual phenomenon.

basically, SYMBOLS make up CULTURE, where they do not occur in NATURE.

all symbols must be learned. they are not passed on genetically – new humans must be impressed with them.
