PEOPLEMATH is a set of THEORIES.

These theories are going to be collected in this circle.

PEOPLE will generate and debate these theories.

Ideally,

fundamental laws of interaction will be discovered.

Part of it has to do with PRESENCE.

I am leaving traces of my existence all over METANOTES.

I am the ghost in the machine.

And if you catch me in action, i am there.

Even though I’m here on my couch, i’m there on your screen too.

it’s eerie.

we are what we note.

Welcome To PeopleMath.

This is a domain that I have had for a long time.

I have been waiting for the right time to unleash it.

Now that METANOTES is underway, I figure it’s a good time.

let’s figure out society, together, in this PEOPLEMATH circle.

USING ASTERISKS TO CREATE BULLET POINTS!!!

  • if you want to create a bulleted list in a metanote,
    • and i know you do…
  • you need to know what an asterisk is.
  • it’s the little “star” that shows up when you hit Shift-8 on any standard keyboard.
  • If you begin any new line in a metanote with “asterisk” and then a space, this will begin a BULLET LIST automatically!
    • To make sub-bullets, enter two asterisks at the beginning of the line.
  • It’s very simple once you get used to it!!!

MetaNotes is the best place to brainstorm EVER.

  • MetaNotes is a new way to take notes and store and arrange content either solo or in a team.
  • MetaNotes is made of NOTES ON SPACES which contain your ideas and those of others.
  • we are still sort of pre-launch so pardon our dust & tell us if you have any ideas.
  • please don’t violate copyright, pretty please, or else we’ll have to delete your notes upon request. thanks.
  • everything here is public space right now – we are trying to create a culture of sharing and openness.

  • Click and drag the background to scroll around the space really fast.
  • You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard.

Collect images from around the Web in MetaNotes!!!

You see an image you want to see again and again, so you want to save it to your MetaNotes account! All right:

  • right-click the image.
  • select “Copy Image Location”.
  • create a new note and title it.
  • *type ”!” then “ctrl-v” then ”!”.

Here’s an example:

For a permanent image link, upload your image to a free hosting service (like photobucket.com) and embed the ‘direct link’ url into a note. Don’t forget to flank the link with exclamation points!
