why the hell not?

sometimes you’re going through your old timelogs and you’re like, that’s funny, i should twitter that out. well we should make that super trivial via twitter’s api.

• you should be able to send messages to other users via the Time Log, which get inserted into their Time Log stream as well as yours with the information “sent to username” in it.
• this way you can quickly zoop messages to other users, sort of like twitter.
• this will sort of be an opportunity for us to mimic socialthing and throw all kinds of api’s at the time log.

this is going to be your “news feed” and your private journal too.

send a message to your future self.

you should be able to set reminders regarding targets, events, appointments, due dates etc. from within the time log.

• you will be able to tag time log entries.
• that way you have something constructive to do while you’re going back and re-reading them.
• that way you can easily sort time log entries and find what you’re looking for in your past.

seriously, you will never forget the ideas you have when out and about again.

they’re all easily accessible next time you log in to metanotes and click the alarmclock icon on the top right.

please do it, it’s one of the coolest things about metanotes….

when i click a time log entry, it should open a wizard. that wizard should let me tag the entry, or send it to twitter, or email it to someone, or send it into a space. that is so cool.

if the entry was a message sent to you, you can reply to it directly from this wizard.

and if the entry was just a history event clicking on it will go to the note referenced in the history event.
